A bit about Rosa

I'm a creative arts worker, gentle guide, and collaborative ally that lives on the West Coast of the South Island of NZ. I have a deep interest in the power of creativity as an agent for positive change, possibility, and magic.  I recognize this desire to create freely as a basic, human need, and I’m honoured to be working alongside others to bring this life.

My experiences shape my practice: I'm a fully registered and practicing clinical arts therapist, published researcher.  I also have six years of experience and organisational oversite of teaching and learning development within the tertiary sector as an adult teaching and learning specialist.  Before moving to the Coast and having my own family I worked as Visual Arts Head of Department in two secondary schools.

I have maintained my teacher registration and at times support local schools as an educator.  In my spare time, I enjoy organising and supporting creative events that bring communities of people together.  I am also a trustee and a research supervisor to Masters of Arts Therapy students.

I'm not the best at updating my blog but please check it out if you want to know about some of my latest projects and please get in touch if you think I may be of help.

I love hearing ideas, big or small.
